1958 AMC Other Super

This is a 1958 Rambler Super saved from the salvage yard. This vehicle has no title or keys with it. It should be considered a parts car or complete restoration. The car originated from Marquette Michigan. It will come with a bill of sale only. There are many great parts on this car! The engine ran when it was parked many years ago. I attempted to start it but the starter solenoid gave up. The engine turns over nice and it has good compression. It looks as if it was taken care of well and is still pretty clean. It is a standard 3 on the tree with overdrive. The seats in the car are in great shape except they would need a very good cleaning and could be used after that. The material is in great shape and I have been in and out of the seats and they are holding up nicely I would not be afraid to use them. Even the carpet could be cleaned and reused!! The seats both recline as they should and are in good working order. There is evidence of mice in the headliner( no mice left). The front hubs are locked up and the front drivers side tire holds air for about an hour. All the tires would need replacing. All the matching hub caps are present. The bottom of the car is the worst part. Floor pans rockers and trunk floor would need replaced. The doors are in good shape. The door panels would need replaced if restored. Fenders are in good restorable condition. All the glass is in excellent condition. I have found no evidence of chips or cracks in any of the glass. The chrome on the car is in great shape with a few pieces needing minor dent removal. Over all the paint has great patina would look awesome with a coat of clear and drive it! There are a few dents in the roof that would easily straighten out. There is a dent in the trunk lid but can be easily fixed. If you choose delivery the fee must be paid ahead of time and the remainder of the payment on the vehiclecan be paid upon delivery. If local pickup is chosen then payment in full must be made upon pick up. Vehicle must be picked up within 2 weeks of end of auction or contact me for other arrangements!
