1968 AMC Ambassador SST

This listing is for a 1968 AMC Ambassador SST. The car runs and drives. The car is largely complete and original. The car will need restoration. The brakes are in working condition. The engine starts right up . The car has older gas in it and the car likes to stall out but always starts right back up. The floor pans are solid. The weatherstripping gaskets around the windows are worn and water does leak in. We keep the car as dry as possible and have it under a cover . The charging system is charging at 14V but the alternator light stays on. The windows are hand crank and all appear to be working. The dash circuit board was replaced with a new old stock board. The outside lights are working. The under dash lights work but there are no dash lights and the gauges do not work. The wipers and fan work. The a/c does not work. We have dove the car for some short trips but for no real distance. The front end will need some work. A front end kit is available from Kanter autoparts . The windshield is cracked. We have a good used replacement that will come with the car. The tires are holding air. There is a new spare tire. The paint is all original. The car had a glass pack installed in place of a muffler so there is a rumble. The exhaust is a single exhaust and the pipes look good. We will do our best to answer any questions you may have.
